These easy pancakes are so simple to make yet always taste just right. Topped with maple syrup and butter they are impossible to resist at breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup of milk
- 2 cups of self-raising flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- Maple syrup, to serve
- 1/3 cup of caster sugar
- Butter, for frying, plus extra, to serve
How to Make Pancake Easily
In a jug, whisk together milk, eggs and vanilla.
Sift flour into a large bowl and mix in sugar. Make a well in the center. Add in the milk mixture and whisk until combined.
Stir together 1/2 tablespoon of mayonnaise and relish each. Add in a dash of hot sauce, lettuce leaves and sliced tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Grease pan with butter or spray with cooking oil.
Pour the batter onto the hot frying pan, using 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook 2 pancakes until brown on both sides (usually 1-2 minutes each side).
Transfer to a plate and cover loosely with foil to keep warm. Serve with maple syrup and extra butter.
