Today I will share an easy banana bread recipe to make at home. This is the perfect dish to make for those who have little to no baking skill. Made with simple to use ingredients, you can have a special treat prepared for your family in no time.

In order to make the perfect banana bread, you need to check where your oven racks are positioned. If it’s too high the bottom will not bake correctly. If it’s too low it burns before the middle is cooked through. Make sure to position your rack one notch lower than the middle of your oven so it comes out perfectly.

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup of butter, melted
  • 1/2 to 1 cup of white sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon of baker’s style baking soda
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of white flour

How to Make Banana Bread Easily

First, I preheated the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Then I added all the ingredients in a bowl and stirred nicely get a good mixture.

I poured the mixture into a loaf pan that I already brushed with oil. Now it’s time to start the baking.

I placed it into the oven and set the timer to one hour. Even though an hour should be enough for this make sure to check whether it’s thoroughly baked.

Instructions

  • In a bowl, add in all of the ingredients. Stir well until just mixed.
  • Pour into a greased loaf pan.
  • Place into the oven to bake for 1 hour or until baked through.
  • Remove and cool for 5 minutes before serving.
