If you are not a fan of cooked salmon this easy baked salmon recipe will surely get you into the habit of eating fish for dinner. Not only is the dish simple and delicious, the marinade really brings out the flavors of the salmon.
Ingredients
- 4 (6 ounce) fillets salmon
- 2 teaspoons of ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup light olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons salt
How to Bake Salmon
First you need to prepare marinade by mixing olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, parsley, garlic and basil in a large bowl.
Now place fillets in a glass baking dish and cover with the marinade. Keep it marinated in the refrigerator for about an hour (you may turn occasionally).
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Place salmon fillets in aluminum foil, cover with marinade and seal. Place it in the glass dish and bake for 40 minutes or until you can easily flake with a fork.
